First time collaborating with GITEX in this edition, AI Everything is where the global artificial intelligence ecosystem coalesces to create the world’s most impactful, visionary and innovation-brimming summit, where trailblazers and innovators go to inspire and to be inspired. It serves as a platform to share the latest developments from experts around the world and to promote industry initiatives, collaborations, partnerships and advancements.

Talking to the press after the award ceremony, Dr. Nhan — AIC Group President and chief architect behind its smart nation and artificial intelligence programs, said: “Getting this special recognition on a global tech arena like GITEX Global and AI Everything means a lot to our company.

“What’s more important is that during this event, we have been able to learn from the most important players in the field, and also to present and demonstrate our own products to international public and private partners. We have even discussed with the AI and digital teams of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi governments as well as Dubai Tourism Authority the possibility of bringing our platforms and applications here to this region.”

Acclaimed by local media as the golden rose during Vietnam’s reform period, Nhan was named among the most influential women by Forbes Vietnam in 2017. The following year, she was honored by the World Smart City Organization as International Smart City Ambassador, then the Order of the Rising Sun awarded by the Government of Japan, and assuming the academic position of Vice President of the Russia-based International Academy of System Studies the same year.

Within the GITEX event, several important MOUs and agreements have also been signed between AIC Group and leading financial and technological partners in the Middle East with regards to the purchase of the company’s software packages and investing into their ongoing national digital transformation R&D projects.

Most noteworthy among the signing ceremonies is the initial consideration of Dubai’s Bin Zayed Group to invest up to $350 million to further the development of innovative technological products with AIC Group, aiming to bring to the regional and then international market the latter’s award-winning AI-driven digital platforms.

In Vietnam where it is based, AIC Group has been synonymous with the boldest and most feasible smart city, smart nation and digital transformation initiatives. In 2018, Nhan’s company received the World’s Best Smart Nation Concept and Model award at the Global Smart Cities Contest in London, UK.

Since then, AIC Group has implemented dozens of smart information systems and intelligent operations centers for Vietnam’s National Assembly, ministries and national agencies as well as local governments.

AIC Group’s smart nation and digital transformation platforms and applications provide an integrated ecosystem to facilitate the interaction and transparency between government authorities, businesses and citizens.

Data is managed centrally, with advanced technologies utilized to generate smart real-time reports as well as predictive analyses to help enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative activities and services, which can be easily accessed by all stakeholders in the society via the web or integrated mobile applications.

The Best AI Applications in National Digital Transformation award was bestowed this year for AIC Group’s big data analytics platform and special algorithms that have proved to be effective in socio-economic simulation and forecasting at both national and local levels.

Over the past years, the company has also deployed multiple AI applications for education, healthcare, social listening, cyber security, automatic surveillance and detection of violations on cameras, among others. — SG
