SACC signs deal with SACA to train 873 of its employees

RIYADH — Saudi Airlines Cargo Company (SACC) has signed an agreement with the Saudi Academy for Civil Aviation (SACA) to train 873 of its employees in various aspects of the airfreight and the logistic operations.

Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdul Hakeem Bin Mohammed Al-Tamimi and SACC's Chairman Fawwaz Al-Fawwaz attended the signing ceremony.

This is the second agreement to be signed by SACC in 2018 to provide training to its staff.

The training program will cover wide-ranging areas including airports' security, operational safety, GACA's by-laws and regulations, the rules of the airfields, the dangerous stuff, plans to response to emergency situations, the terminologies of air freight and others.

The agreement was signed by the CEO of SACC, Omar Talal Hariri and head of SACA Fahd Bin Solaiman Al-Harbe, who said the bilateral cooperation, which will start in May, would continue for two years.

He said the trainees will attend 558 study courses and training sessions during the duration of the agreement. — SG
