Almarai and Facebook launch Middle East’s First Branded Instagram AR Filter

Almarai has launched the first Middle East's first ever branded Instagram AR filter for Saudi National Day, Where Fans can try the augmented reality lens directly from Instagram and adorn themselves with colors of the Saudi flag and fun 3D KSA glasses.

Instagram opened its platform for brands to launch AR lenses in early August and Almarai has leveraged this opportunity by launching a perfect AR experience for their fans.

Social media has brought a significant change in how companies communicate their consumers where Almarai keeps up with this thru its social media accounts, Abdullah Al-Otaibi said, Corporate Communications and Public Relations Manager at Almarai.

"We are delighted to cooperate with Facebook, as Almarai is always striving to keep up with the latest developments in mass communication patterns to reach our consumers, wherever they are, Alotaibi said. Our digital partner, Spark company has helped us to make that happen, he added.
